In short: this website uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools and no embedded third-party content. Fonts are loaded locally from our own server.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by: DomainFactory GmbH, c/o WeWork, Neuturmstraße 5, 80331 München. When you visit our pages, the server automatically collects information that your browser transmits (server log files):

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• page or file requested and amount of data transferred
• referrer URL (previously visited page)
• browser and operating system used

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and without disruption and in defending against attacks. The data is not combined with other data sources and is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for these purposes. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the host in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

3. No cookies, no tracking

We do not use cookies or any analytics or marketing services. If you change the language, your browser stores your choice locally (local storage) so that the website greets you in your language on your next visit. This information remains solely on your device, is not transmitted to us and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. Storing it is strictly necessary for the service you have expressly requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

4. Fonts

The fonts used are stored on our own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or any other font provider.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). We delete the data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Our enquiry form does not send any data to our server. When you submit it, your browser only creates a pre-filled email in your own email app; we receive your details only once you send that email yourself.

6. Links to social networks

Our website contains simple links to our profiles on X (Twitter), Facebook and GitHub. These are not embedded plugins: merely visiting our website does not transmit any data to these providers. Only when you click a link are you taken to the respective provider’s site, whose own privacy policy then applies.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to

• access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• withdraw any consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
